We gathered in San Francisco to build the heART, children and adults alike created whimsical red chalk drawings outside and wrote their wishes on red tags to hang on our tree, families and friends mugged for the camera in our heart photo booth, and Laura introduced Lisa Blair, principal of our first school project, the E.C. Reems Academy in Oakland, CA. The items collected we distributed to: La Casa de las Madres, North Beach Citizens, YEAH!
